"Wish Upon A Star…Cleaning and Household Services” is a "Mom & Pop" home-based locally owned business that was born out of a heartfelt wish one dark and starry early morning back in March of 2008. The owners are Alexis and Dinshaw Challa.    “Hi there, Din and I are pleased to tell you our a bit about ourselves so that you feel at ease, safe and comfortable with us while we are in your home and handling your personal property and information.      We want to be able to make all your future service calls delightful and pleasant experiences, by gaining your trust and friendship."

 

 

Dinshaw is a “techie”, his expertise and passions lie in computer technology so he handles any lT computer/technology service calls that our clients may request/need. He also handles all of the behind the scenes tasks for our business such as; accounting, employment, website design, and any other administrative responsibilities as well as company vehicle licensing and maintenance. Dinshaw is currently employed full time with UPS.

Alexis is the “domestic engineer”, she takes care of all of the service calls (with the exception of computer/IT service calls). Her passion or "gift" is in cleaning as well as any other domestic tasks such as interior decorating etc. She also handles overall customer service, scheduling of appointments, ordering supplies, new clientele meet n’ greets, job estimates, business advertising, equipment maintenance and servicing as well as all domestic questions/concerns/advise.  Alexis previously worked at World Vision as a Training Coordinator/Exception Posting Specialist in the Donation Processing Department. She was employed with World Vision in the same department for almost 15 years (* World Vision is a Christian non-profit humanitarian organization that helps children and families around the world)

 Dinshaw has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Alexis has an Associates Degree in Arts and Science with an emphasis on Digital Design. Alexis was in the US Navy back in 1979-1983 and worked on Naval Aircraft. Dinshaw (Din) and Alexis have a young adopted son by the name of Izaiah whom they deeply love and are very proud of. Din and Alexis are WA State licensed Foster Parents through Children’s Home Society and have enjoyed helping people both young and old in various ways since their marriage in 1999.

Both Din and Alexis were born in foreign countries, which makes for some interesting conversations as well as a different point of view on many things due in part to their individual life experiences and cultural differences.

 Din and Alexis have lived in Puyallup since 1995.
