At Wish Upon a Star we do a variety of services, some of which are as follows:

Residential Services

  • Basic Cleaning (Dusting Furniture, Vacuuming, Floors, Kitchen, Bathrooms)

  • Spot Cleaning Doors, Door Frames, Walls and Baseboards

  • Specialized cleaning/dusting of lamps, ceiling fans, knickknacks, picture frames

  • Removing Cobwebs

  • Cleaning Appliances Outside and/or Inside

  • Cleaning Ashes Out Fire Places/Wood Stoves

  • Laundry* (Washing, Folding, Putting Away)

  • Making Beds & Changing Linens, Putting out fresh towels in Bathrooms

  • Organizing Home/Garage

  • Taking Out Trash / Cleaning Trash Cans

  • Airport Shuttle

  • Other Errands (within a 5 mile radius of client’s residence or place of business)

  • P/U Dry Cleaning

  • Post Office Errands

  • Grocery Shopping – per client’s specific shopping list

  • Other Misc. Errands

Commercial Services

  • Basic Cleaning (Dusting, Vacuuming, Floors,)

  • Cleaning Reception Area

  • Cleaning Restrooms

  • Cleaning Lunchroom

  • Empty Trash Cans/Recyclable Cans

  • Straightening Display Brochures, Magazines

  • Dusting Office Machines and Equipment

  • Dusting Desk Areas, Computers

  • *Specialized Cleaning as needed per client

*Supplies & Equipment for this job will be provided by the customer as needed

The bulleted list above is just a generalization of the basic services we provide to our clients however, we can and do customize our services to the specific or specialized needs of each and every one of our clients. We provide all of this personal attention at a very affordable cost of only $17.00/hr regardless of what we need to do for our clients or how labor intensive/time consuming the job may be for us.

We have several advantages over our competition and these are the following; 

  • Lower price for the same or higher standard of service

  • Superior/Specialized variety of services offered

  • Service range covers a wider area than our local competitors

  • We schedule our appointments according to our clients needs/time schedule

  • We are willing to accommodate clients stringent cleaning guidelines and/or preferred cleaning products/methods that they may require us to use on their personal property

  • There are no minimum hours required to be paid for by our client

  • Clients deal directly with the owners/service providers for all aspects of their service including references, scheduling, accounting as well as specific needs, concerns etc.

Please Note: **To ensure that our prices stays low we charge a small trip fee. This additional fee is determined by the service location and is consistent for both residential and commercial clients alike. We hope this is understandable to those on limited budgets. 

We try our best to keep costs to a minimum whenever possible.

JUST SO  WE ARE CLEAR...OUR HOURLY RATE REGARDLESS OF DISTANCE** IS STILL ONLY $17/HR. (There is a trip charge per trip based on region where you are located).

Our Trip Charge is as follows:

Region 1- $5.00 Puyallup

Region 2- $15.00  Tacoma, Sumner, Orting, Lakewood, North Graham, Ft. Lewis, Steilacoom, Edgewood, Fife, Milton

Region 3- $20.00  Renton, University Place, Federal Way, SeaTac, Tukwila, Auburn, Maple Valley, Black Diamond, South Graham, Eatonville, Elbe, Lacey, Bonney Lake

Region 4- $25.00 Seattle, Bellevue, Olympia, Gig Harbor

Region 5- $30.00 Trip charge will apply to North of Seattle areas and will depend on how far North from Seattle we are having to travel as well.  This also applies to areas South of Olympia and any Islands such as Vashon, etc.
